What is Yoga?

Yoga means “UNION”; to bring together. In short, yoga is a system of physical exercises or postures. These exercises build strength, flexibility and confidence. Yoga is also about breathing, which helps calm and refresh the body and mind.

Mariah McClam

Yoga Travel Instructor

Hello, i’m Mariah! I became interested in Children’s Yoga while teaching pre-school. Over time I realized children needed a way to express themselves through fun movement. Yoga became the perfect exercise during our quite time. This helped to cultivate their mental, physical and emotional abilities. So in 2018, I decided to become a Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor. Now I travel all over the U.S. doing yoga in schools with children and staff, spreading awareness about the importance of yoga.
